Data Deletion

How to request that AgentResto delete your data. See also our Privacy Policy.

1. Who this applies to

This page covers data deletion requests for anyone connected to AgentResto through a restaurant account - the restaurant owner, staff, or a customer who has messaged a restaurant's AgentResto agents over WhatsApp, Instagram, or Messenger.

2. How to request deletion

Email agents@agentresto.co.uk with the restaurant name (and, if you're a customer, the phone number or handle you messaged from) and the subject line "Data deletion request". We'll confirm receipt within 2 business days.

3. What gets deleted

Once verified, we permanently delete: messages exchanged with your agents (WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram), booking records, customer and staff profiles, connected account tokens (Instagram, Google, Meta, and any other linked platform), and any content generated on your behalf that hasn't already been published.

4. What we can't delete

Content already published to your own connected social accounts (Instagram posts, Google Business Profile posts) lives on those platforms - deleting it there is a separate step you control. Records we're legally required to keep, such as billing history for tax purposes, are retained for the statutory period and deleted afterwards.

5. Timeline

Deletion is completed within 30 days of a verified request. You'll get a confirmation email once it's done.
